Quick Life Update

Hey Y’all,

I can’t thank you enough for all of the love, support and prayers I received over the past year. I am grateful for the time off between graduating from college and joining “the real world” where I was able to travel, spend time with friends and family and explore who I am as a person. I would not be where I am today with out several people including Lucy Scott, Jake Batsell and Richard Roth. You and many others were instrumental in my job search due to your encouraging words and recommendations that kept me going.

I am thrilled to let you know that a month ago I began work at my dream company, CNN. I am working as a production assistant for CNN’s newest 9pm show “Piers Morgan Tonight” out of the New York bureau. I am constantly learning new tools of the trade and trying new things. I am excited for the journey ahead and I am confident that I am at the right place at the right time in my life. I look forward to making my career at CNN.

As some of you have come to learn, I love hand written thank you notes. Please don’t think I have forgotten about you, life has simply been a little crazy. I just stocked up on some beautiful engraved stationary that will go out in the mail soon…I’m still compiling a list of people I need to write and thank!

So truly, thank you to each and every one of you that has made me the person and journalist that I am today. I couldn’t have done it without you.

That’s all for now…until I decide how to go forward with this blog. It may become a gratitude journal, an observation blog, or something else.

All the best,

P.S. If you want to see what I’m up to on a daily basis check out our blog, facebook page and twitter account. Then catch “Piers Morgan Tonight” weeknights at 9pm ET/PT
